Oldenburg, Grand Duchy. A Red Cross Medal Archive before he became Emperor of(Rote Kreuz Medaille). Instituted 10 August 1907 by Grand Duke Friedrich August. (1907 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with enamels, consisting of an oval ring surrounding a central monogram of Grand Duke Friedrich August set over a hollow background, the obverse topped by a white enameled medallion bearing a red Geneva Cross, with an loop emanating from the reverse of the medallion retaining an original ribbon, the reverse stamped with a
